Patriotic Pretzels
It's election night, which means SNACK TIME! I needed something easy to take to our friends' house after work, and what better serves both salty and sweet teeth than chocolate covered pretzels?
Ingredients:
Bag of dark chocolate chips
Bag of white chocolate chips
Bag of pretzel rods
Patriotic sprinkles!
Heat up the chocolate in the microwave (1 minute at 70% or according to the directions on the bag!)
Dip the top 1/2 - 1/3 of the pretzel in it and then pour sprinkles on top
Put in the fridge for about 5 minutes to set
Done!!
The only issue I had was that the dark chocolate was much meltier than the white chocolate, so it kept falling off in clumps with the sprinkles - on the counter, on the floor, on each other! Another ingredient: paper towels to clean up!!
